pip - pip install -v 是什么意思？

最近看到一个命令pip install -v

其实是

$ git clone https://github.com/NVIDIA/apex
$ cd apex
$ pip install -v --no-cache-dir --global-option="--cpp_ext" --global-option="--cuda_ext" ./

我通常命令pip install something

但是 pip install -v 是什么？

-v or we can can also use --verbose. Both are same.

-v is used when you want to use or expressed something in more words than are needed.

-v Give more output. Option is additive, and can be used up to 3 times.
