Got it to work with a Canvas but not with JPanel (with paintComponent) for some reason. update() does not get called with paintComponent maybe?

不要重写 update() 方法。这是旧的 AWT 代码,Swing 中没有完成。当您创建 BufferedImage 时,可以在构造函数中完成对 BufferedImage 的绘制。但一般来说,当图像是静态时,您只会使用 BufferedImage。

就您而言,我建议您不需要 BufferedImage。只需在 paintComponent(...) 方法中完成所有自定义绘制即可。
