您可能已经在 Posgres8.3 安装试图初始化一个新数据库的位置安装了一个数据库集群。你不能真正混合和匹配那样的版本。

如果可能，请安装您创建现有数据库时的旧版本。然后使用 pg_dumpall创建所有数据的 .SQL 转储。然后您可以移动或删除旧数据库(通常位于 /var/lib/pgsql)并安装新版本。最后，应用数据库转储以取回旧数据。
