这是一个已知错误，已在 master 上修复 (https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/pull/3414)。

错误在于处理搜索 freetype安装。如果你安装 Linux 包 freetype-dev，你将避免这个 bug，并且能够编译 matplotlib。
